TRAINING
Training courses will ensure you have the expertise needed for your particular career area. There are professional skill programmes for all functions, which are then disseminated at the workplace. Training takes place both within the company and without. Professional skills courses that often target specific areas of professional development are the first of a series of programmes that continue as you develop. Training leading to professional qualifications are also delivered, such as eMBA (if selected) and also for management development programmes (MDP).
People joining JSW have different levels of experience and many have limited business awareness. So we offer a firm grounding, with business induction programmes. Through these you learn about your operating company and gain a broad overview of JSW's corporate strategy and growth objectives.
During your tenure here, you will also be exposed to business skills development courses from time to time. This provides exposure to contemporary management thinking and practices, helping you understand how business in general - and JSW in particular – is growing. It's also a chance to practice new skills and work with live business issues.
Within your operating company, you'll learn a range of enabling skills that support your development as a manager. These include interviewing skills and positive influencing techniques. |
