Janam se Janani Tak (JSST)- ‘JSW Aap ke Saath’ theme for long-term commitment extending service to meet the pressing need towards empowering women and children.

We recognise the potential outcomes of investing in community welfare, and consequent mutual benefits that accrue through cooperation and collaboration. Our community initiatives are increasingly becoming strategic; and leveraging access to a larger pool of resources by engaging with communities and the Government. We are also ensuring effective deployment of such resources in collaboration with all stakeholders.

We are increasingly using our governance, managerial wisdom and business acumen in community interventions.

Each manufacturing site has a dedicated team of development professionals. Inputs and insights of expert organisations and individuals are sought for specific initiatives. These are being undertaken in a project mode and are expected to deliver measurable outcomes. Our corporate social responsibility programmes are monitored by both internal and external experts.

The Board level of CSR Committee as well as the management at sites reviews the progress of various programmes.

JSW Steel ensures community participation in all its initiatives. None of its activities are merely handing over the benefits; this is to ensure the ownership of the community and critical for the sustenance of the initiatives. The communities are sensitised to come forward and contribute in whichever way possible they can.
