A token of good luck to our 12 athletes & Team India for Rio 2016

Besides contributing to the growth of India through multiple businesses lines, JSW always believes in promoting various Indian Art forms and Sports.
And this time it has been done in a unique way where the excellence is something that is taken very seriously by every one of us here at JSW Group and we are proud to say that in the last couple of years gone by, we have upped our efforts in this pursuit of sporting glory.

The JSW Sports Excellence Program (SEP), the flagship endeavour of JSW Sports, supports 40 of India's elite athletes.
Spread over six disciplines, it is one of the most comprehensive programs in the country.

The 40 athletes are provided access to top-of-the-line athletic apparel, nutritional supplements, dedicated physiotherapists and sports scientists.
Comprehensive injury prevention techniques and regular consultation with renowned medical experts are also part of the SEP.

In a proud moment for the SEP, 12 of its athletes will represent India at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics.
Over the years, SEP athletes have medalled at the Commonwealth and Asian Games.
Medals have also been earned at World and Asian Championships.

The 12 Rio-bound athletes are; OP Jaisha (women's marathon), Sudha Singh, Lalita Babar (both 3000m steeplechase), Sandeep Tomar (men's freestyle wrestling), Hardeep Singh (Greco-Roman wrestling), Vinesh Phogat, Babita Kumari and Sakshi Malik (women's freestyle wrestling), Vikas Krishan Yadav ( men's boxing), Avtar Singh (men's judo) and Seema Punia (women's discus throw) & Narsingh Yadav (men's freestyle wrestling)

As a tribute to the sporting spirit of all the Indian athletes, JSW Group has created a new Brand Campaign “Rukna Nahi Hai”.

As part of the brand campaign strategy, JSW Group has engaged renowned sand artist Padma Shri Sudarshan Pattnaik who has extended his support in creating a life size installation on the sea beach at Puri, Odisha as a tribute to the sporting spirit of Indian Contingent at Rio 2016.

The installation captures the names of all the 12 athletes who are a part of the Sports Excellence Program ( SEP ) at JSW Sports.
