The Delhi Metro covers approximately 69,000 kilometres in a single day which is more than the circumference of Earth. DMRC is the first in the world to have started earning carbon credits for its regenerative breaking system that helps it in reducing its energy consumption by 30 per cent. DMRC was recently ranked 2nd amongst 18 international metro systems.
