JSW Projects Limited (‘The Company’) was incorporated on August 21, 2006 with the main object is to undertake setting up of projects for Steel making, Port, infrastructure, mining, cement, chemical, energy generation and distribution, industrial gases etc. on EPC basis and /or Build Operate Transfer (BOT), Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) or Build Own Lease Transfer (BOLT) basis or in such manner as may be considered expedient, by the client.
The Company had setup and is running the following plants as per BOOT agreement with JSW Steel Limited, setup at Vidyanagar, District Bellary, Karnataka, within premises of the existing integrated steel plant of JSW Steel Limited:
a) Coke Dry Quenching (CDQ) plant with 3.42 MTPA capacity
b) Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) plant based on Corex gas with 1.20 MTPA capacity
c) Captive Power Plant (CPP) 76 MW capacity
The Company is also operating following plants at Sultanpur and near Hospet in Karnataka:
a) Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) plant 0.12 MTPA capacity and Captive Power Plant (CPP) 8MW capacity at Sultanpur
b) Pellet Plant 0.3 MTPA capacity near Hospet
The Company had also acquired 58.47% stake in BMM Ispat Limited (BMM) during October 2020.

Mr P. Nagendra Kumar, aged 57 years holds a degree in B.E. (Mechanical) from Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh. He has an overall 28 years of industrial experience in Project execution & Plant maintenance. He has been associated for over 25 years with JSW group and has served the Company in different capacities; specifically, in the field of Ironmaking i.e., Blast Furnaces & COREX units and has headed various departments and projects successfully.

Mr. Vineet Agrawal, aged 50 years handles various core functions like Strategic Planning, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and Fiscal Analysis, Corporate Advisory and Financial Decision Making for Business Development and Support Modules. Prior to joining JSW Group, Mr Vineet Agrawal worked in the Income Tax Department, Ministry of Finance, having joined Indian Revenue Service in 1997 for almost a decade, he worked in various capacities in the administration of Tax Laws, Resource Planning and Investigative Leadership. He has an engineering background being an M. Tech (Management and Systems) from IIT, Delhi, and recipient of the prestigious “Finance Minister’s Gold Medal” for his outstanding performance as an officer of the Indian Revenue Services (IRS)

Mr. B. N. Singh, aged 76 years has completed his B. Sc. Engineering (Hons.) in Metallurgy. He is specialized in Management systems, design, construction, commissioning, operation of various industrial units like raw material handling systems, blast furnace of various sizes, sinter plants, pellet plants, auxiliary services, coke making and by-product plants, cement plants, DR plants, large industrial workshops, power plants, iron ore benificiation plant etc. in India and abroad, and Automation systems for Industry. He have work experience of more than over 50 years for companies like SAIL, MECON and many other. His experience, as part of MECON, India as a General Manager under metals. He was also the Vice president of Solida S.A, a Brazil based Company, in the business of setting up Projects. He was also an advisor for JSW Steel for more than 10years. He is been awarded for various forums for excellence in Design of Tuyere Stock with compensator and also for Design of cast house Runner system with Reverse separation of slag.

She has vast field experience and has been associated with Water and Sanitation Project of UNICEF as project officer and Consultant and Resource Person for Indira Gandhi National Open University.
