Parth Jindal holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Brown University. He is the Managing Director of JSW Cement.
The company has a capacity to manufacture 6 MTPA cement and is a part of the diversified JSW Group. The JSW Group is one of India’s largest integrated manufacturer of Steel (18 MTPA) and is a major player in Power generation (4531 MW). The Group also has significant interests in Ports and other Maritime Infrastructure, Sports and has also recently entered the investment business.
He joined the JSW Group in 2012 as Economic Analyst and has held multiple responsibilities across the Group. Based out of the Group’s global headquarters in Mumbai (India), he is currently spearheading JSW Cement’s rapid growth so as to emerge as a key-player in the sector by 2020. Parth has also headed the special team formed to resolve challenges in the implementation of the Coke Oven Battery as well as the Pellet Plant at JSW’s Dolvi unit in Maharashtra. He was instrumental in overcoming these challenges and the plant was commissioned in early 2014. In 2013, Parth initiated a study on the Indian market for steel that eventually resulted in JSW Steel adopting a new retail strategy for higher penetration and realization bringing significant improvement in the bottom-line of the company.
He also plays a key role in the Human Resources, Legal, Commercial and Corporate Communications functions of the Group.
In addition to his responsibilities at the JSW Group, Parth Jindal is also the Managing Director of Bengaluru FC, India’s youngest professional football club launched by the JSW Group. Before joining the JSW Group, Parth has worked as an Economic Analyst with JFE Steel in Tokyo - Japan’s second largest and the World’s eighth largest integrated steel manufacturing company.
Parth Jindal, born on 19th May 1990, is the son of Mr. Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of the JSW Group.
Mr. Nilesh Narwekar is the Chief Executive Officer of JSW Cement. He possesses a rich body of experience of 20 years across Management Consulting Industry. As part of his consulting career, he has consulted senior executives across Cement, Metal & Mining, Consumer products & Auto industry, across India, Saudi Arabia and Europe.
Prior to joining JSW Cement he was a partner at Strategy& (formerly Booz & co.) and before that a Partner at Accenture and in his early years was part of Sales team at Procter and Gamble.
Mr. Nilesh holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication from NIT Calicut and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
Mr Narinder is a seasoned professional with 20 years of proven track record in Financial Accounting, Auditing, central Excise & custom Laws, Sales tax including VAT, Direct taxes, FEMA, Costing, Budgeting & Working Capital Management. He was earlier working as chief Financial officer (CFO) JSW Infrastructure Ltd and prior to that he was associated with JSW Bengal steel,Haldia Petrochemicals, Bhushan power& steel Limited, MGM Group of Companies, K.C.T & Bros(C.S )Ltd. Mr Narinder is a commerce Graduate from Punjab University, Chandigarh and is a qualified chartered Accountant from the Institute of charteredAccountants of India ,New Delhi
