JSW Foundation’s new hospital in Dolvi is now open

JSW Foundation, the social development arm of US$ 22 billion JSW Group inaugurated its new 73-bed JSW Sanjeevani Multispeciality Hospital in Dolvi, Maharashtra. Spread across 4.5 acres, this hospital will provide easy access to a wide range of healthcare services under a single roof for patients across 200 villages surrounding the Raigad district in Maharashtra. So far, these patients were dependent on healthcare service providers & clinics located at Alibaug or Panvel which is 30 to 70 kilometres away. JSW Sanjeevani Multispeciality Hospital, Dolvi offers healthcare services across various Specialities such as neonatal, cardiology, accidental and emergency care. These healthcare services are a blend of quality medical care offered at affordable costs with a patient-first approach. The Hospital will also link its patients to relevant government schemes to provide cashless services to the community as far as possible.

Commenting on the inauguration of the Hospital, Mrs Sangita Jindal, Chairperson of JSW Foundation said, “Providing easy & affordable access through quality medical interventions to rural communities has been a critical focus area of JSW Foundation. Our new JSW Sanjeevani Multispeciality Hospital in Dolvi is a progressive step in this direction. The district of Raigad & its surrounding villages have a higher ratio of population in the age group of 16-35 years. This is a productive population and requires access to good quality health services. As a healthcare institution, JSW Sanjeevani Hospital has been established with a mission to deliver timely, inexpensive and easily accessible quality healthcare & medical services in order to make the lives of patients in these villages better.”

The JSW Sanjeevani Multispeciality Hospital, Dolvi is a state-of-the-art 73-bed medical facility comprising 10 OPDs, ICU & Emergency Ward, 6-bed MCH Ward with NICU, 24x7 ambulances, Pharmacy & Cafeteria. The Hospital shall offer consultation services in medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, cardiology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Gynaecology and Orthopaedics. It is located close to the Mumbai-Pune-Goa National Highway and an industrial zone within a radius of 20-25 km. Thus, facilities of the hospital would be very useful for trauma cases on account of accidents.
