About Amba River Coke Limited
Amba River Coke Limited (ARCL) was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 on 25th September, 1997 in the name as Geetapuram Coke Company Limited. The name of the Company was changed to Amba River Coke Limited on 5th November, 2007. The Company is having its registered office at JSW Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai 400 051. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Steel Ltd. (JSWSL)
The main business of the Company is coke and steel pellet manufacturing. The Company operates two backward integration units, a 1 Metric Tonnes per Annum (MTPA) Coke Oven plant and 4 MTPA Pellet plant at the Dolvi complex of JSWSL. The Dolvi steel plant of JSWSL is a shoredbased integrated plant with a crude steel manufacturing capacity of 5 MTPA. The commercial production of the coke and pellet plant of the Company commenced in financial year 2014-15. These facilities have stabilized and are well-integrated with the facilities of the Dolvi Steel plant ensuring continuous, high quality and cost-effective supply of key raw materials to JSWSL under a long term Take or Pay Agreement.

Mr Jugal Kishore Tandon
Mr Jugal Kishore Tandon holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Mumbai. He has over 40 years of rich and vast experience in setting up of mega projects, bringing them to commercial operation and overseeing all aspects of business enterprise.
Ms Nayantara Palchoudhuri
Ms. Nayantara Palchouduri holds Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Political Science and was awarded University Gold Medal and the National Scholarship. She has also done M.A. in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London) and M. Phil (Research Degree) from the London School of Economics & Political Science where she was awarded the Metcalfe Scholarship. She has more than 22 years of experience in operations and management of tea estates in North Bengal. She is presently serving as the honorary Counsel for Norway in Eastern Region. She is also the Chairperson of the North Bengal Branch and Council member of the Tea Research Association and President of the Indo British Scholars Association. She is also associated with several social Associations.
Mr Ashok Kumar Aggarwal
Mr Ashok Kumar Aggarwal is a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Regional Engineering College (now National Institute of Technology), Kurukshetra. He has a vast and rich experience of about 34 years in designing of drive system for industrial plants (at BHEL, Bangalore), commissioning of drive & automation system for Steel plants (at BHEL, Bokaro SAIL site), installation & operation of Hot Strip Mill (at ESSAR, Hazira), Operation & Maintenance of Hot & Cold Rolling Mills and Logistics & Production Planning. He has led the team for installation of largest and most modern Hot Strip Mill in India, revamp of Hot Strip Mill – 1 to increase capacity from 2.0
Mr Pradeep Bhargava
Mr Pradeep Bhargava is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He possesses rich experience spanning over thirty years in the field of accounts, finance and taxation. He has served various central and state public sector organizations as well as various private sector organizations in textile, construction, cement, oil & gas and steel industry.
Mr Prem Pushkar Varma
Mr Prem Pushkar Varma holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT BHU. He possesses rich experience spanning over 30 years in the steel industry. He has served public as well as private sector organizations in the steel sector. He has vast practical, technical and administrative experience in operation and maintenance of all major units such as Coke Ovens, Blast furnace, Hot Strip Mill, Caster, Sinter, Pellet, RMHS etc.
He has been associated with Dolvi Unit of JSW Steel Ltd. for about 14 years and played a vital role in establishing pellet plant and sinter plant and capacity enhancement of Blast Furnace. Prior to this he was associated with SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant.
