JSW Group builds the Samadhi of Adi Guru Shri Shankaracharya at Kedarnath

We are proud to announce the completion of one of our beloved projects - Sri Adi Shankaracharya's Samadhi at Kedarnath that will stand as an embodiment of the great saint's knowledge and qualities. The JSW Group worked closely with the Government of India and the State Government of Uttarakhand in realising this project while restoring the glory of Shri Kedarnath Dham.

On 5th November 2021, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi graciously inaugurated Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s Samadhi Museum. We are elated to finally present the outcome of four years of tireless work, in partnership with the Govt of India & Uttarakhand to restore India’s rich cultural heritage through this museum.

We are extremely grateful to Shri Narendra Modi Ji for inaugurating Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s Samadhi Museum and guiding us throughout the 4-year-long restoration journey. The museum embodies India’s rich heritage and furthers Shri Adi Shankaracharya’s legacy.

Just like Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s quest for discovering ‘the inside’ guided him on the path to Kedarnath, our commitment to preserving India’s rich cultural heritage took us there. And today, Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s Samadhi Museum stands tall to welcome anyone who sets out to explore India’s cultural history.
