JSW on-ground relief efforts for COVID 19
On the 29th of March 2020, we made a commitment to this country - that we as a group and as a family we would do everything in our capacity to aid COVID19 Relief efforts. As on today, our resolve is even stronger and will continue to be till the crisis is over.
The nation has been submitted to the Global Coronavirus Pandemic with affecting more than 4.2 Million people as of now, and the number is growing daily. While the government has put everything at stake in order to fight this novel coronavirus, we at JSW group have also decided to extend our strongest support.
The JSW Group in an extension to a commitment to be in service to this nation and in belief in making the nation #BetterEveryDay, the Group announced support to all relief efforts towards COVID-19 through a Rs. 100 crore donation to the PM-CARES Fund and by supporting with other on-ground initiatives such as the setting-up of isolation wards, support to communities with essential staples and the importing of requisite ventilators.
