Reflections: Chairperson’s message
Towards an
equitable tomorrow

Dear Stakeholders,

Year after year, we continue to experience more extreme and erratic weather patterns. The last few months have seared themselves in our minds as some of the hottest in recorded history. Our summers are getting hotter and longer. Our rainfall is getting less predictable—more extreme in certain places, less so in others. Yet, hope floats in all of us.

At JSW Foundation, we believe we can turn the tide of climate change, starting by acknowledging that we are one world—an interconnected one—where through cooperation, communication, and innovation, we can grow stronger together.

Insights: CEO’s message
Towards a Better Everyday

Dear Stakeholders,

To safeguard the human species from foreseeable extinction, the SpaceX Mission envisages a habitable world on Mars—in the face of any major catastrophe. It is, indeed, a unique publicprivate initiative. While it is important to root for this ambitious initiative’s success for humanity’s greater good, the immediate thought is that, perhaps, we first need to learn from our mistakes on this planet before inhabiting another.

While taking inspiration like perseverance and learning from the setbacks of the herculean task that spacefaring is, we can take several simpler steps to make this world Better Everyday. What is pertinent is bold, decisive everyday actions consistent with one’s cherished goals.

Outlook
CSR Outlook for FY23

In FY23, JSWF looks at enhancing and accelerating its efforts in the existing programs and projects, to ensure longevity, and to leave a profound impact.

Our motto for the next year is Scale, Innovate, Diversify for a better tomorrow.

We look forward to bringing in more innovations and partnering with local, state and national-level organisations, adding value to the projects.

We endeavor to nurture youth to provide them with better livelihood opportunities using innovative training models.

For long-term sustainability of our programs, we are building capacities of rural and social institutions such as Farmer Producer Organisations, Self-Help Groups, Micro-Enterprises and local governing bodies, thereby forming special committees.
