Our Initiatives

Sports Excellence Programme

The Sports Excellence Program (SEP) is the flagship endeavour of JSW Sports, which currently supports 31 athletes across three disciplines. The SEP provides financial support to these athletes, while also providing opportunities to train under world-class coaches at Olympic training facilities. The programme covers expenses for travel, accommodation, nutrition and sporting equipment, along with access to dedicated physiotherapists. The SEP athletes also have regular access to the state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities at the Inspire Institute of Sport in Bellary, so they can continue to train when they’re away from their national camps.

Inspire Institute of Sport

The Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) is India’s first privately-funded High Performance Training Centre that trains talented young athletes across five disciplines - wrestling, boxing, judo, athletics and swimming. Spread over 42 acres in Vijayanagar, Karnataka, IIS is a unique initiative led by the JSW Group. It brings together 20 corporate donors who are collectively funding the operations of the institute through CSR funding.
