JSW Steel Vijayanagar Works and JSW Paints, Vasind, win prestigious recognitions in Manufacturing Excellence
JSW Group has reaffirmed its leadership in India’s manufacturing sector, with two of its businesses—JSW Steel Vijayanagar Works and JSW Paints Vasind Plant—earning top honours at the National Awards for Manufacturing Competitiveness (NAMC) 2024–25, organised by the International Research Institute for Manufacturing (IRIM).
While JSW Steel Vijayanagar Works clinched the NAMC Gold Medal, it also received the distinguished AatmaNirbhar Nation Builder Award under the AatmaNirbhar Factory Recognition Program (AFRP), underscoring its pivotal role in advancing self-reliant industrial development in India. Simultaneously, JSW Paints Vasind Plant was awarded the NAMC Silver Award, marking a milestone achievement in innovation-led manufacturing and sustainability.

The NAMC, established in 2013 by IRIM, recognises organisations that demonstrate exceptional manufacturing capabilities through innovative approaches, strategic alignment, and operational excellence. Evaluated on IRIM’s proprietary Manufacturing Competitiveness Index, the award benchmarks companies on 10 critical indicators mapped to their business goals including:
