JSW SKILL SCHOOL, BHADRESH
The team at JSW Energy Barmer Ltd was proud to open a new skill school at Bhadresh under its CSR initiative on the 15th November 2019. The skill school was inaugurated by Mr Prashant Jain, JMD & CEO, JSW Energy Ltd, along with Mr Sharad Mahendra, COO, JSW Energy, Mr Aditya Agarwal, Head, JSW Energy and Mr. Rakesh Mehta Group HR Head, JSW Energy. Mr. Veeresh Devaramani, HOD, JSW Energy Barmer and Mr Anil Sood, ED, SWML and members of the community were also present at this inauguration.
Spending the day around the skill school, Mr. Prashant Jain met with the women working at the BPO, the recycling centre and the garment centre and was delighted at the hope that the Skill School provided to each one of them
Rural BPO for women
Under this project, women will be providing training for a three-month period in computer skills, communication skills and BPO operations post which they will secure opportunities on the production floor. JSW Foundation and the BPO Central Team hope to secure enough opportunities on the production floor through clients to make this BPO self-sustainable. While the 2019-2020 batch will cater to 60 women, the team hopes to increase batch strengths to 150 people per year in the future.
