At JSW Foundation, our commitment to nation-building begins with strengthening the health of communities. Through our Health and Nutrition portfolio, we strive to reduce disparities in healthcare access, address the needs of vulnerable populations, and build a foundation for long-term well-being.
Education is one of the most powerful enablers of social transformation. At JSW Foundation, our education initiatives are designed to ensure that children and young people from underserved communities have access to inclusive, equitable and quality learning opportunities that prepare them for the future.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), JSW Foundation implements impactful, community-centric initiatives across Water, Environment, and Sanitation to enhance the quality of life of communities living around its operational locations. These interdisciplinary programmes are designed and executed using a participatory approach, ensuring strong community ownership, long-term sustainability, and resilience against climate and environmental challenges.
We strive to implement effective waste management systems while cultivating responsible, waste-wise communities. Our initiatives include awareness campaigns, door-to-door waste collection and infrastructure for safe segregation, composting and coprocessing. We also promote waste upcycling and alternative livelihoods, helping communities derive greater value from waste sustainably.
JSW Foundation works closely with farmers across India to strengthen agri-livelihoods through value chain development, adoption of sustainable farming practices, capacity building, and improved market linkages. In partnership with Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), the Foundation has supported thousands of farmers, helping reduce input costs, improve productivity, and enhance income security.
At JSW Foundation, we believe meaningful livelihoods are the cornerstone of inclusive development. Through industry-aligned skilling programmes, strategic partnerships, and future-ready training models, we are equipping youth and women with the knowledge, technical capabilities, and confidence needed to thrive in an evolving economy.
To foster the aspirations of young talent, JSW Foundation continues to provide adequate infrastructure, training, nutrition and a strong support system for Indian athletes. By strengthening grassroots sporting ecosystems, the Foundation is enabling young athletes from underserved regions to access professional training environments and structured mentorship programmes that pave pathways for sporting excellence.
Inspired by India’s rich civilisational history, JSW Foundation actively supports the preservation, promotion, and contemporary interpretation of art, culture, and heritage. Recognising their profound influence on community identity, creative expression, and societal progress, the Foundation invests in initiatives that safeguard cultural legacies while creating inclusive spaces for dialogue, learning, and innovation.
