An accomplished Business Leader and a second-generation entrepreneur, Mr. Sajjan Jindal had the foresight to lead the Steel industry and JSW in particular on a transformational journey, contributing significantly to India’s growth philosophy.
A mechanical engineer, Mr. Jindal led the JSW Group through some of its most exciting phases, including JSW Steel and JSW Energy going public in 1995 and 2009-10, respectively. Today, the Group takes pride in expanding the business landscape across Infrastructure, Sports and Cement, with the Group’s revenues over USD 12 billion for the year ended March 31, 2020.
A firm believer of the “Make in India” philosophy, Mr. Jindal has been awarded at global platforms for his contribution and commendable work. He has recently been awarded the “Outstanding Business Leader of the year 2018” award by the CNBC TV18. He was also awarded ‘CEO of the Year’ award by Business Standard (India’s leading business publication) and the JRD Tata Award 2017 for ‘Excellence in Corporate Leadership in Metallurgical industry.’ He was also awarded the “2014 National Metallurgist Award: Industry” instituted by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. His keenness to give back to the society and a desire to improve the “lives of individuals”, led to the existence of JSW Foundation which is committed to provide the means to empower individuals to bridge the socio-economic divide and contribute to the creation of a more equitable and sustainable community. The Foundation is proud to have touched the lives of over 1 million people by providing them with opportunities for a bright and sustainable future.
A renowned and respected practitioner of sustainable business practices, Mr. Jindal is a noted member of the Executive Committee of the World Steel Association (WSA), President of Indian Steel Association (ISA) as well as the former President of the Institute of Steel Development & Growth (INSDAG). He is also a Council member of the Indian Institute of Metals.

Mrs. Sangita Jindal is the Chairperson of the JSW Foundation that is responsible for social development projects of the JSW Group. In the twenty years that she has spearheaded operations, the Foundation has enlarged its scope of activities in the areas of education, health, livelihood creation, local sports development and conservation of our arts and cultural heritage. The Golden Peacock Award for CSR awarded to the JSW Foundation in 2009 and again in 2019 is testimony to her vision and leadership.
Her other significant passion is in the promotion of art and culture. She established the Jindal Arts Centre (JAC) in 1992 and started Art India, an art magazine in 1994. She was among the team that conceptualized the Kala Ghoda festival and for these efforts she was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship in 2004. She has created, the Hampi Foundation that has undertaken conservation work at three temples in Hampi and the friends of school premises that has improved the Sir JJ School of Art.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of Asia Society India Centre and National Culture Fund, Trustee on the Board of the World Monument Fund, Advisor to Ted X Gateway and a member of the IMC Ladies’ Wing Art, Culture and Film Committee. She is a recipient of the Marico Ricci-Metro Society Young Achievers Award in 2004, the Best Citizen Award conferred by the I Love Mumbai committee in 2002 and the FICCI Ladies Organization Woman Philanthropist Award in 2011.
Mrs Jindal, has also committed her support to women’s empowerment by becoming the Chair of the Women’s Empowerment Principals Initiative in India.

Parth Jindal earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2016 and his BA in Economics and Political Science from Brown University in 2012.
Prior to joining the $12 Bn JSW Group, Parth spent 2 years working abroad, starting with a hedge fund in New York before spending considerable time in Japan working for JFE Steel (JV Partners of JSW Steel). Here, he learnt the nuances of manufacturing and sales of auto grade steel.
Upon joining the JSW Group, Parth took up a role as an Economic Analyst within the Group’s Corporate Strategy arm and led strategic projects. He was instrumental in devising a new retail strategy for JSW Steel and additionally took up the challenging task of turning around some of JSW Group’s loss-making entities where he continues to remain involved namely, JSW Cement and JSW Steel USA. Today, Parth Jindal is the Managing Director of JSW Cement (currently a $400 Mn organisation with 11.6 MTPA capacity and is being steered towards 20 MTPA capacity by 2020), Managing Director of JSW Paints (a start-up), Founder and Director of JSW Sports - Owners of Delhi Daredevils, Bengaluru FC, Haryana Steelers, Founder of Inspire Insitute of Sport (a visionary project to elevate India’s Olympic caliber), Director of JSW Ventures and Director of JSW USA. He has been recoginsed as ‘GQ’s 50 Most Influential Young Indians for 2018’. He has also been felicitated by News24 as 2018 Youth Icon for his contribution to the Nation.
At the Group level, Parth continues to lead and provide direction to the Human Resources and Information Technology functions.


Mr Rao is the Joint Managing Director of JSW Steel and the Chief Financial Officer of JSW Group. Having joined JSW Group in 1997, he has played a strong role in the growth strategies of the company. He has risen through the levels and now holds the dual positions of JMD of JSW Steel and CFO of the JSW Group.
In his present capacities, Mr Rao is responsible for the overall operations of the Group, including strategic formulations related to business development, expansion of existing businesses, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and cost management.
Mr Rao is a man of considerable experience in industrial finance. Prior to joining the company, he worked with several reputed organisations in varied capacities. He possesses a strong foundation in the finance sector with three decades of experience in the areas of corporate finance and banking.

Dr Vinod Nowal is the Deputy Managing Director of JSW Steel. Dr Nowal has shared an association with JSW that spans almost three decades. He joined Jindal Iron and Steel Co (JISCO) as the Works Manager in 1984 in Tarapur. He also handled Operations and the Commercial department of both Vasind and Tarapur plants. In an inspiring story of growth through dedication, he worked his way to the post of Executive Director in JISCO. He was appointed Director-Commercial of JSW Steel in 2004 and took charge as Director and CEO of JSW Steel in 2009. Dr Nowal spearheaded the Company’s meteoric expansion from 4MTPA to 10 MTPA in a short time.
In his career, Dr. Nowal has been at the helm of various prestigious organizations. He was the President of the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC), Bangalore. He is serving as the President of Karnataka Iron and Steel Manufacturers’ Association (KISMA).Dr Nowal has also rendered his services as the President of TIMA (Tarapur Industrial Manufacturers Associations, Tarapur, which represents 1200 industries of Tarapur MIDC) from 1999 to 2004. He was the President of Lions Club of Tarapur in 1990 – 91. He then moved on to becoming the zonal Chairman in 1998 – 99, Region – V. Dr Nowal further became the Regional Chairman 2000-2001 and was also a Patron of Chinmay Mission School, Tarapur. Dr. Nowal holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Inventory Management.


One of the senior leaders of JSW Steel, Mr Acharya has a multi-faceted background. He is a chemical engineer with a Masters in Physics from BITS, Pilani (1986) and an MBA in Marketing from Indore University.
Mr Acharya is a veteran in the steel industry with 24 years of experience that spans the entire range of flat and long steel products. Over the years, he has acquired wide-ranging experience of the steel business, having worked in various capacities and locations in India. His extensive experience includes start-up operations, development and execution of strategies for leveraging new markets and customers, creation of strong brand equity for the company in the domestic and international markets and introduction of innovative marketing concepts.


Mr. Jain is a mechanical engineer with more than 28 years of rich experience in Operations, Project Execution and Management, Corporate Strategy, Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Affairs, Information Technology, Investor Relations and Policy Advocacy. He is a persuasive professional with strong techno-commercial acumen and a proven proficiency for driving business initiatives and strategies.
His Mantra for management is to “Innovate & To Do Things Differently” for business processes to achieve desired goals.
He has been working with JSW Group for more than 25 years. Prior to being appointed in the current role in July 2017, he was working with JSW Steel Ltd.
