It is such thinking that led us to the construction of the coaches; made for the first time in India. For years now, we relied on the expertise of organizations outside of the country. However, it was time we took matters into our own hands. The coaches of the Metro Rail commonly known as a ‘Car-body shell’ have an underframe, two sidewalks and a roof - all made of stainless steel. Each coach will not just boast of a design that reflects the culture of Kerala, but will also be sound-proof. The coach is designed to give commuters an absolutely international experience.
