We at JSW believe that energy saved is energy produced and thus we aim to conserve resources and energy by adopting the best available practices of the industry. As the exhaustion of fossil fuels, which supply three-quarters of this energy, is not far off, JSW Energy capitalizing on renewable power generation to support India as it moves forward in becoming carbon-free. We are working on our strategy of becoming a 20 GW generation company by 2030 along with 40 GWh / 5 GW Energy Storage capacity. We have onboarded new opportunities in our business, which is mainly leading us towards emerging as India’s leading power producer, as we balance our growth aspirations and risk management. Through this, we also aim to contribute to UNDP’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Our target for non-renewable energy consumption during FY 2022-23 is 2,50,20,544.86 MWh.

JSWEL has two operational 400 kV transmission lines under Jaigad Power Transco Limited (JPTL). The reliability of electricity transmission in terms of SAIDI is 20.148 hours, 32.142 hours and 33.288 hours for FY 2020-21, FY 2021-22 and FY 2022-23 respectively.
