Satish Mishra is Head of Environment and Sustainability for our largest steel manufacturing location. He is responsible for driving, monitoring and implementation of the Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives at JSW Steel, Vijaynagar. He works towards achieving of high standards of environmental performance, forming of sustainable organization through implementation of sustainability standards, measurement and monitoring, training and capacity building. Developing and integrating the Sustainability strategy into the overall business strategies for instilling an appropriate HSE culture within the Vijaynagar location and external stakeholders.

Satish is a groomed Environment professional having 22 years of exposure to various Environmental & Sustainability aspects of Steel manufacturing, Iron Ore Mining & Cement manufacturing.

He holds Masters in Environmental Sciences and Ph.D. in the same field. He is also having Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety, Lead Auditor for EMS & OHS and Certified Sustainability Assessor.

MBA and is NEBOSH certified H&S professional. He has strong communication skills, good relationship management skills and negotiation skills and has been a lead speaker in various national and international conferences.

He joined the group in Nov, 2022 and is a sports enthusiast in running long runs (marathon) and cycling.

JSW Steel - Vijayanagar Works

Srinivasa has been a member of JSW family for 23 years since its inception in 1997 and currently heads the Environmental Management of JSW Steel – Vijaynagar works. He has contributed to areas like Statutory Clearances(MoEF&CC, CPCB KSPCB) and Compliances, EIA studies, Air Quality Modelling, Sustainability, EMS, FFL and a lot more. He has conducted fascinating research and has been associated with many turnkey projects.

Srinivasa has an immense professional experience of 31 years in the areas of environmental management. He has conducted quality research in association with National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) , Nagpur. He has also been involved in various consultancy projects like EIA, Design of ETP/STP/WTP in Richardson & Cruddas (1972) Ltd, which is a Gov. of India Undertaking, Chennai.

Dr. Srinivasa Rao has done his M.E. in Environmental Engineering and is also a PhD. in the same field

JSW Steel – Dolvi Works

Anand has a rich experience of 20 years of environment management in various industrial sectors like Cement, Mines, Power and Steel. He has expertise in the field of Environment Impact Assessment, Carrying Capacity, Solid waste management, Air & Water Pollution Control, Water treatment Plants, Maintenance of Air Pollution Control Equipment, Climate Change, Biodiversity, Sustainability, R&D etc.

He has done his M.tech in Environment along with PhD in the same field

Head – Iron Zone, Business Excellence & Sustainability - Salem Works

Mr. Sai Rama Krishna has over 28 years of rich experience spanning across areas like Production, Cost, Quality, Safety, Sustainability and Projects at Iron Zone (COP, Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace and RMHS). He is also responsible for implementation of Sustainability initiatives at JSW Salem Works.

Sai Rama Krishna has completed MS in Manufacturing Management from BITS Pilani and AMIIM (Metallurgy) from Indian Institute of Metals. He is also Certified Six Sigma Black Belt professional, Certified CII EXIM award Assessor along with a Certificate in Yoga for Human Excellence.

JSW Steel Coated Products – Vasind

Chandrashekhar started his journey at JSW as a Deputy Manager in the Environment Department. In the 24 years of his service here at JSW he has played critical role in the management of HSE implementation including achieving and complying to the statutory and the regulatory requirements. He is also responsible for the Emergency and firefighting management for the plant, colony & the recreational complex and maintaining OS&H & EMS systems. Apart from these, his responsibilities also include Safety implementation including statutory compliance.

He has played many roles some of them being the MA–OS&H, MR-EMS, Sustainability Coordinator - Coated, Alternate MR-QMS, Convener – APEX Safety Committee, Champion Solid Waste Management- Vasind and Member of Local Crisis Group – Shahapur Taluka.

His qualifications include BE – Environment Engineering, Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. He has also been the Lead Auditor for OS&H ISO 45001, EMS 14001 and QMS 9001

Coated Products – Kalmeshwar

Balasaheb is the Head of the Department - Environment Safety & Health at JSW Steel Coated Products – Kalmeshwar. In the past 11 years of his association with JSW he has worked to develop cordial relationship with MPCB, CPCB and Department of Environment (State, Central and Regional offices). He is responsible for submissions compliances and reporting under GRI. He has been crucial in the implementation of the world’s best safety DuPont Standards and safety software. He also acts as the Chairman of the Mutual Aid Response group of Kalmeshwar Industrial Area.

Balasaheb started his career with Nikhil Environmental consultancy services and later shifted into research at National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) as a Project Assistant. He also worked with Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited as Safety, Health & Environment Personnel to assist the company with their OHS and environment related compliances.

Balasaheb has done his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University. He also holds Advanced Diplomas in Fire Safety & Industrial Environmental Engineering and Industrial Safety. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Legislative Law from (RTMNU), Nagpur.

JSW BPSL- Sambalpur Works

Akul has a rich experience of 23 years in the field of Process & Environment Management in various industries in India Like IFFCO (Paradeep: previous OCFL), TATA Steel (Jamshedpur). AMNS (Hazira, previous Essar Steel) & JSW Steel Ltd(Vijaynagar). He has expertise in the Environment in the field of Water & Wastewater Management, Solid Waste Management, Environment Impact Assessment, Air Pollution Control, Water treatment Plants, Maintenance of Air Pollution Control Equipment, Climate Change, Biodiversity, Sustainability etc.

He has done his B.Sc Honours (Chemistry), B.Tech in Chemical Technology.

JSW Steel Raigarh.

Mangaraju Muralidhar Rao is Head of Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability at JSW Steel manufacturing plant located at Raigarh. 

He is an Electrical Engineer with Post diploma in Industrial Safety and Masters in MBA HR. He is the driving force behind our EHS and Sustainability development work at our plant. He works towards the achievement of a high standard of monitoring and implementation of the Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives at JSW Steel, Raigarh.

Mr. Rao is a groomed HSE professional having 30 years of exposure to various Health, Environmental & Sustainability aspects of Steel and Cement manufacturing. He is a leader with good communication skills which helps him to make people learn and implement new ideas related to Safety, Environment & sustainability. Other than that he is good at giving training on different subjects that are related to HSE & sustainability that are beneficial to plant employees on different accounts.

He joined the group in December 2021. He practices Yoga and is an enthusiast in walking & Marathon. He is also a recipient of prestigious awards like ASSE etc…

He is a yoga practitioner and a passionate walker and participates in marathons. 

Prabodha was appointed as the Group Chief Sustainability Officer at JSW Group from Sept 2019. In his current role, he partners with CEOs, Senior Executives and operations heads to develop and drive sustainability strategy for the group companies. He is having nearly three decades of working experience in the field of corporate sustainability, environmental management, emissions reduction, climate change corporate strategy and policy development.

Before joining JSW, he was working as Senior Vice President for Aditya Birla Group Sustainability responsible for developing and delivering an internal assurance system to ensure that all group companies and business remain compliant to international standards. Prabodha started his professional career in SAIL, worked and managed a variety of Environmental issues from Mining to manufacturing in metal (Iron and Steel) Sector including policy advocacy. After working for more than a decade, he joined Lloyd’s Register, UK and managed the climate change, sustainability and customized Assurance Service for South Asia.

Prabodha holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Civil and Master’s Degree in Technology (M Tech) in Environmental Engineering.

Swaroop joined the Corporate Sustainability Team in April 2021. He is responsible for developing and delivering an internal assurance system to ensure that all group companies and businesses remain compliant to international standards.

Swaroop joined JSW from ERM India Private Limited – the world’s leading sustainability consultancy, where he was a Partner. With over 25 years of experience covering consulting, management systems assessments, and operations for a wide range of industry sectors in India and Globally. Swaroop has previous stints in Lloyds Register and Exide Industries. Swaroop’s core technical areas include the development, implementations and management of Sustainability Strategy, Framework, and performance, including management systems, compliance, and system assessments and assurance, disclosures, and reporting under the various sustainability frameworks and lead and support new initiatives in operational excellence from concept to deployment.

Swaroop is a Chemical Engineering Graduate and has completed his master's in management systems. His hobbies are listening to music and traveling. He enjoys watching cricket and playing chess

Badal heads the Sustainability Data Reporting & Analysis and Sustainability Framework Management verticals for Corporate Sustainability at JSW Group. His work involves promoting Sustainability initiatives across JSW Group along with internal and external communications related to Sustainability. He works on multiple projects related to sustainability reporting, assurance, policy development, development of the corporate sustainability framework, stakeholders’ engagement, sustainability communications, training and capacity building programs across the Group.

Badal is a metallurgical engineer from MS University and has experience of about 21 years in the Ferrous and Non Ferrous Sectors. He has been involved into various greenfield and brownfield project conceptualization and execution. He is an accredited Project Management Professional from PMI USA.

Badal has been selected & trained under the Future Fit leadership program of JSW Group with Cornell University, USA. He enjoys traveling, music and watching Nature and Wildlife documentaries.

Ajay supports the Sustainability Data Reporting & Analysis functions of the Corporate Sustainability at JSW Group and is responsible to drive and monitor implementation of sustainability initiatives at Group Level and support activities such as sustainability reporting, assurance, IT system development and monitoring, internal communications and capacity building across the Group.

Ajay holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mumbai University & has over 10 years of experience in project execution and monitoring. He started his professional career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee with JSW where he was involved in various greenfield & brownfield projects, the most recent being the water based paint plant.

Ajay joined the Corporate Sustainability team in 2019. His hobbies are playing snooker, cricket & travelling.

Harshal Limdi is a mechanical engineer from REC, Surat. He has completed his post graduate diploma in finance from Symbiosis Institute of Distance Learning. He is having 22 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, energy management and performance improvement, climate change, environment management, sustainability and digitalization.

He is a GradIRM (Level-3) risk management professional, Accredited Energy Auditor by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), IGBC LEED AP and CMVP (Certified Measurement & Verification Professional). He has worked in Sterlite Copper, TUV SUD South Asia and Aditya Birla Group prior to joining JSW group

Leading the Environment team of JSW Cement catering to new projects as well as routine environmental compliance and management across all locations, Arvind joined JSW Cement in 2012 and since then, involved in various greenfield and brownfield projects at various locations across the country. He is also supporting the implementation of sustainability initiatives at JSW Cement.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from Rajasthan university and having 32 years of experience in cement industry in the field of Environment compliance & management, new / expansion projects’ clearances, integrated management System implementation and sustainability initiatives.

He started his professional career with Mangalam Cement, Kota and then served for 16 years at Binani Cement, Rajasthan where he greatly contributed to rainwater harvesting and artificial groundwater recharge (within and beyond the fence) leading the company to become a water positive entity.

His hobbies include painting and watching sports.

V Narsimha Reddy, is associated as a Manager in the Environment Department with JSW Cement’s Nandyal Unit Since November 2010.

He completed his B. Tech (Civil) from JNTU Kakinada and Post Diploma in Environmental Engineering (PDEE) from Govt. Institute of Post Diploma course in Engineering & technology, Hyderabad. After that he went on to work with India Cements and Anjanni Cements.

With a wide experience in cement field of over 25 Years and 2.5 years in Environmental Monitoring works, he has great expertise of the industry. He looks into all environment-related works for the Cement plant and mines, co-coordination with A.P.PCB, Ground Water Department etc. for all clearance like CFE and CFO etc. He also manages the implementation of ISO systems and coordination with consultants for 9001,14001,45001and EnMS 50001. He is also working on exploring alternate fuel arrangements for co-processing to make the operations eco-friendlier.

Mahesh has an experience of 8 years in Cement and Mines Sector and 3 years in Power Sector in the field of Environment Management. He joined JSW Group in March-2019 has Deputy Manager – Environment. He has completed B.E in Environment Engineering in 2010 and is a  Certified Lead Auditor of EMS 14001:2015, by Bureau Veritas.

He has worked on projects related to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory conditions, O&M of ETP, STP & WTP, Environment Monitoring & Co-coordinating for Environment Clearance, CFE & CFO. Other areas where he has worked are Hazardous Waste Management and working with Online Emission Monitoring System.

Manindra Nawtan is leading to Safety & Environment functions at JSW Cement, Dolvi Unit and is responsible to drive and monitor implementation of Safety & Environment initiatives.

He holds a master degree in Environmental Science and Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from CLI, Mumbai and has over 15 years of experience in the area of Safety. He has also been given the responsibility of Environment functions recently. He started his professional carrier with Lafarge cement as a Safety Officer. 

Manindra joined JSW Cement Limited in 2016 and his hobbies are playing Badminton, watching cricket & movies.

Rahul works as the Front line officer to control the environmental pollution in JSW Cement Ltd, Salboni. Apart from maintaining the compliances for the plant and implementing the Environmental Policies set by Corporate, he actively participates and supports in monitoring of dust collectors as well.

Rahul has a Masters of Technology from National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology, Ranchi in 2017 and Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow in 2015. He has an experience of more than 2 years in field of Environment through Environmental Consultancies in Delhi.

Rahul has joined JSW organization in September’2019. His hobbies include playing chess, reading, and football.

Bhabya has a degree of M.Tech in Environment Science & Engineering from Sambalpur University.  Having an experience of more than 8 years in relevant field and developing his competency in Environmental Management Systems, complying with standards and conducting compliance audits along with coordinating with statutory authorities viz State Pollution Control Board, Local pollution Control Board, Forest Department, Environment Management Plan, Statutory Compliance & its implementation as per Management system guidelines.

He started his professional career with S.S.Environics India Pvt. Ltd as a GET. He then joined JSW Cement on October 2020. In his current position, he looks after all the statutory compliance reportings like EC, CTE, CTO, HWA, etc. Liaise with pollution control board for annual NOC’s compliance, State Forest Department, MoEF &CC, OSPCB etc.

He is a committed team player who also relishes challenges and readily assumes responsibility and accountability.

Mr. Kumar has completed his M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and B.Tech in Civil Engineering from University Institute of Technology from the University of Burdwan.

He has 2 years of experience in the field of environment and has earlier worked in Jaypee Bina Thermal Power Plant. Currently, he has joined JSW, full of vigour and enthusiasm in the Environment and Sustainability Department at JSW Cement, Odisha.

Vikas is part of the Civil & Environment department of JSW Cement FZE, Fujairah in UAE. Vikas is responsible for managing the required statutory permits and approvals for installing a project and/or operating the Plant. Vikas keenly and efficiently manages the collection, analyzation and submission of environmental check parameters to the concerned authorities including approval of permits in time. Other than supporting his core functions, he also enthusiastically gets engaged in the horticulture activities across Plant. He also takes strides in the development of sustainable initiatives like usage of alternate raw material and fuels for the Plant.

Vikas is a Civil Engineer by profession and holds rich experience in construction of large scale cement plant projects. He has also handled successful roles in field of Safety, Environment, ISO implementation. Vikas started his stint as an Engineer from Birla cement works

Vikas joined JSW Cement in Fujairah in the year 2018 and is delivering his commitments towards the organization in a professional way. His hobbies include music listening, playing cricket etc.

JSW Paradip Terminal - Iron Ore & Paradip East Quay Coal Terminal 

Ashish is associated as a Manager in the Electrical Department with JSW PTPL & PEQCTPL, Paradip since August 2017.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from B.P.U.T, Rourkela, and has over 15 years of experience in the area of Project execution, Commissioning & Maintenance in the Electrical domain. He is a Certified Energy Manager from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE). He started his professional career with Vedanta Aluminium as GET in 2008. Before joining JSW, he was working with Linde India Ltd as a Senior Engineering officer in a Air Seperation Plant for 2 years.

Other than supporting his core functions in the Electrical maintenance department, he also enthusiastically gets engaged in the sustainability initiatives like Energy savings, Energy transition towards green energy sources, process improvements, and waste management. He is responsible for coordination with different departments for GHG data collection & drive initiative, progress tracking to achieve annual sustainability goals. His hobbies include travelling, driving, trekking & reading articles.

Dhananjay Namdeo Shet is head of Safety & Environment functions and is responsible for driving, monitoring and implementation of the zero harm safety culture, Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives at JSW South West Port Limited, Goa.

He holds a master degree in Environmental Engineering – BITS Pilani and Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety - DGFASLI, Mumbai. He has over 15 years of rich experience in the various industrial sectors like Automobile, Cement, Mines, Port, Power and Steel. He has started his professional career with Vedanta Limited. He is also a Certified Lead Auditor of ISO 45001:2018 – DNV GL.

Dhananjay has joined JSW South West Port Limited in 2019 and his hobbies are playing Volleyball, Cricket & watching movies.

 JSW Infrastructure Limited

Jayanta heads the Sustainability, Environment and Project Engineering functions at JSW Infrastructure. He initiated Sustainability in JSW Infrastructure and is responsible for rolling out the various initiatives to meet the Sustainability Performance Targets. He is also responsible for Environmental Clearances and Compliances and for Project Engineering of greenfield projects at JSW Infrastructure.

Jayanta is a post graduate mechanical engineer with 37 years of experience primarily in the Steel Industry along with a good exposure to Ports, Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Non-Ferrous Plants and Slurry Transportation. Apart from Project Conceptualization, Engineering and Execution, which is his core expertise, Jayanta has a wide experience, working across Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Feasibility Analysis, Engineering Standards & Specifications, Value Engineering and Environmental Impact Assessment.

Dr Monica has a qualitative expertise of more than 22 years in the field of Environment with established skills in preparation of Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Reports and acquiring Environmental Clearances (EC) for large Infrastructure Projects like Ports, Sea Links, Water Transport Systems, Coastal Roads and Industrial projects.

She holds a Masters in Zoology (Marine Sciences) and PhD from Mumbai University. She has also done Diploma in Business Management from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai. She enjoys listening to music, travelling and reading.

JSW Mangalore Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd & Mangalore Coal Terminal Pvt. Ltd, Mangalore.

D M Subhani, is associated with JSW since February 2022.

He completed his M. Tech in Environmental Management from JNTU Hyderabad, B. Tech in EEE from NECT, affiliated to JNTUH, PG Diploma in HSE (PGDHSE) from Annamalai University and CC on Industrial Safety from SBTET, Telangana. He is a certified Internal Auditor for IMS (ISO 9001, ISO14001& ISO 45001), certified by IRCLASS. He is a certified lead SHE Auditor, certified by NSC in accreditation with NABET.

He has worked with Petron Engineering Construction Limited, L&T W&RE IC, Maha Cement (My Home Group), Chettinad Cements in the field of HSE.

With a wide experience in various Industries of over 12.5 Years and over 2.0 years in Environmental Monitoring works, he has expertise of the industry. He looks into the Safety, Fire, Environment, Sustainability & IMS related activities for both the terminals (Entities) for fulling the statutory & other requirements. He also coordinates for the implementation of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO14001& ISO 45001).

Mukul associated with JSW Infra Since 2012 where he was earlier involved in Electrical Maintenance & performance improvement projects.

Mukul now leads Electrical & Automation part of various greenfield, & brownfield projects & is single point contact for Sustainability Data Reporting & Analysis functions and is responsible to drive and monitor implementation of sustainability initiatives at unit Level.

Apart from his Project related activities he is also involves in Digitalization of all Port related activities & data collection.

Mukul Yenurkar is a Electrical Engineer by profession. He has completed his Executive-MBA in Operations from SIES College, Navi Mumbai He is having 27 years of experience in Projects & Maintenance in Port field specifically in Bulk cargo & Container terminals.

He has worked in Dubai Port World prior to joining JSW group

R. Sudarsan, holding Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Anna University, Chennai, IRCA & Bureau Veritas certified QMS lead auditor (ISO 9001:2015), EMS internal auditor (ISO 14001:2015) , Safety and digital champion of Ennore Terminals is now the coordinator for sustainability development, tracking and monitoring GHG emissions, exploring improvement/initiatives to reduce the CO² emissions. He is also responsible for digital improvement activities in the terminals for reducing manual / physical consumption of stationery and consumables by way of modernizing operations, converting the physical handwritten activities into digital applications. He is actively responsible for implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and is the MR for the effective establishment of Quality Management Systems at Ennore Works.

R. Sudarsan, having 15+ years of experience  in Project Management started his career with a 2*5000 TPD green field cement plant project in Central Tamil Nadu and later ventured into several green field projects such as 2*660 MW super critical thermal power plant projects, mini sea ports projects, wherein he had the opportunity to gather knowledge in geo marine investigations, Bathymetric Surveys topo and coutour land surveys working closely with sectors like Ocean Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Tecchnology- Madras, Geology Department-Anna University and the Institute of Remote Sensing, Madras Division.  and is now working as deputy manager(operations) in Ennore Terminals.

JSW Jaigarh Port Ltd. Jaigarh Ratnagiri – Maharashtra.

Vitthal P. Jadhav, Asst. General Manager (EHS) has been member of JSW Infra family for 13 years and currently heads Environment and Statutory Compliances. He has contributed areas like Statutory Clearances (MoEF&CC, CPCB, PESO, MPCB, GSPCB, KSPCB, DISH, Fire Department and Local District Compliances under the Acts) and maintaining Good Environment of JSW Jaigarh Port as per the statutory norms in operational stage. Helping to the Corporate Environment Team for related documents and information.

Vitthal has a professional experience of 23 years in the field of Environment, Health and Safety. He is qualified Lead Auditor of IMS, Member of JSW DuPont and BSC team, responsible for submissions compliances and reporting under the Sustainability reporting of JSWJPL. Development and maintaining green belt, good housekeeping, STP operation and maintenance of JSWJPL.
