Powering India’s Future. Better Everyday.

Steadily Improving Operational Excellence

At JSW Energy, it is our constant endeavour to improve the operational efficiency of our plants by innovating and adopting the global best practices.

Our operating excellence is characterised by JSW Energy having one of the lowest Operations and Maintenance (O&M) expenses in the sector. Moreover, despite inflation and wage increase, we achieved a healthy reduction in the O&M expenses to `18.7 Lakh/MW in FY2019 from `19.3 Lakh/MW in FY2018, through organisation-wide digitisation drives and reduced auxiliary power consumption.

We have been steadily improving our long-term PPA (LT PPA) proportion to ensure stability to the cash flows. Almost all our LT PPAs are under the two-part tariff scheme, thereby insulating us from any fluctuations in foreign exchange on coal imports and coal prices.

The consolidated net power generation across our plants for FY2019 stood at 22,088 MUs.

We strongly believe in sustainability and all our efforts are designed to maintain ecological balance by incorporating sustainable measures across our operating methods, systems and processes.
